Position Objective

The objective of the Professional Services Team Lead is to ensure the growth of the professional services business by defining, developing and managing solution delivery and implementation services. The Team Lead is responsible for the overall productivity and quality of work for their assigned team and works to ensure that each of their team members have the skills and tools needed to be successful and addresses/expedites escalations when necessary.

 

The Team Leader role is a highly tactical, business-focused, strategic consultant focused on employee and client success & enablement. The Team Leader has a high level of knowledge across multiple disciplines and provide vision, leadership and expertise to the various project coordinators and engagement managers in the organization and works to ensure that each of his/her team members have the skills needed to be successful and addresses/expedites escalations when necessary.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide leadership of a ECM Professional Services team, to take day-to-day activities off the ECM Regional Professional Services Director (PSD).  Focus should be on:

  • Mentor/Coach team members in the areas of:
    • Technical & Solution competencies

  • Provide team management and support via:
    • Coaching/mentoring as outlined above
    • Technical and Solutions training
    • Review technical documents generated by Professional Services team
    • Review and approval of work schedule and time off
    • Respond to escalation issues from team members
    • Responsible to support interviewing Professional Services team members and making hiring recommendations
    • Support employee retention initiatives and communicate gaps or deficiencies in programs
    • May be required to perform billable activities primarily due to emergencies and Vacation/time off coverage for their team member
  • Responsible for project team productive and billable utilization of the staff, ensuring the time cards and resource plans are kept current in Projector.
  • Oversight responsibilities for all in-flight projects ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within budget and within scope.
  • Assist in the semi-monthly development of the Short-Term Look reporting (STL), monthly productivity reporting, and weekly departmental reports.
  • Acts as the escalation point within the team providing resolution of technical and customer service issues or early escalation of any challenges, issues or risks to the PSD.
  • Assists the project implementation team to architect, develop and implement complex/custom ECM solutions, as needed.
  • Manage projects; Develops project plans and the work break down structure of tasks, conducts project status meetings, responsible for escalation and closure of technical issues and provides the sales team with upgrade/ incremental new licensing or solution opportunities as it pertains to active engagements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • Seven years or greater experience implementing ECM Solutions (OnBase and Advanced Capture – highly desired)
  • Minimum seven years’ experience in managing/ implementing medium to high complexity solutions.
  • Five years or greater Project Management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead ad hoc project teams consisting of resources with varying skillsets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to execute within a team structure
  • Strong technical implementation and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to solve technical problems
  • Ability to create process documentation – Visio experience preferred
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook)
  • Proven dedication to enabling quality through continuous improvement
  • Exhibits strong coaching skills and potential leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

  • Four-year college degree or satisfactory completion of a technical curriculum from an accredited computer school and/ or equivalent work experience – Required
  • PMI, Six Sigma or other recognized PM Certification – Desired
  • CDIA+ Certification –Desired
  • ECMs Certification – Desired
  • Hyland OnBase Installer Certification – Highly Desired
  • Hyland OnBase Workflow Certification – Highly Desired
  • Hyland OnBase Workview Certification – Highly Desired
  • Advanced Capture Certification(s) – Highly Desired
  • Prior Project Management Experience – Highly Desired
  • Management/leadership experience, managing Remote teams - Desired
