Position Objective

Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for an Engagement Team Manager!

 

The position of Engagement Team Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for coordinating local resources to deploy and implement, major, national and Fortune 1000 accounts within their respective market and to drive consistent messaging, guidance and support for the Direct Sales Organization within Konica Minolta.

Essential Job Functions
  • Engage the market employees to help identify opportunities where KM can provide additional hardware, solutions and/or services to meet KM customers’ ongoing and future needs.
  • Provide market sales teams with subject matter expertise on existing and potential customer business needs, opportunities and challenges
  • Manage two direct reports who will provide the market sales teams with pre and post-sales support
  • Coordinate key resources to help execute strategies developed by the sales teams or the Enterprise Account team
  • Communicate to key stakeholders to execute and deliver on customer expectations
  • Manage market implementations
  • Coordinate training as needed for vertical teams
  • Manage information through CRM Once products and solutions are sold, the ETM effectively collaborates with the market staff to drive a successful implementation.
  • The ETM must act as the single point of contact for the roll out of services and solutions based upon programs approved by the Business Intelligence Division.
  • The ETM must provide assigned customer base with subject matter expertise and understanding of their business and the needs of the account.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
  • Knowledge of industry hardware, services, and solutions
  • Understands office workflow and related productivity and cost savings
  • Understands sales strategy in the print and software development industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with the sales team(s) to support sales strategy development
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of internal and external organizations
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Successful people management and development experience
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in business development and customer engagement
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent skills and experience
