Job Title:  Sales Consultant, Digital Work Place

Position Objective

This position is responsible for developing relationships to win clients for Konica Minoltas Digital solutions and product lines. You will build partnerships with new and existing customers, becoming a trusted business consultant for them, helping them identify gaps and processes that can catalyze their digital transformation.

Essential Job Functions
  • Prospect and research to establish new markets and clients for Konica Minoltas groundbreaking product, the Workplace Hub TM, and the broader Workplace of the Future TM portfolio.
  • Establish a consultative relationship with clients to understand their core business needs and tailor a Konica Minolta solution that offers them the best Return on Investment.
  • Facilitate our clients’ digital transformation by helping them identify areas of their business that can benefit from automation and creating a road map for their journey to digitization.
  • Leverage the strengths of the Organizations other business units to up-sell/ cross-sell solutions, and enhance the overall footprint of Konica Minolta.
  • Your success will be determined by the understanding you develop of our clientele, our organization and products, and your ability to put these together to make a convincing proposal.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
  • You have about 3 - 5 years of experience in IT Services / Solutions sales. Experience selling to Small and Medium size Businesses is an added advantage!
  • You think like and Entrepreneur – this role requires you to be nimble and have a mindset to “get things done”
  • You have experience prospecting and engaging new clients, eliciting requirements and presenting proposals, conducting negotiations and successfully closing deals. 
  • You are a “quick study”, able to grasp products’ intrinsic capabilities and values and use them to create differentiators for clients.
  • You take the time to develop an in-depth understanding of the customer and their needs, and are able to drive conversations towards investments required to achieve their business goals.
  • You are naturally inclined to collaborate with internal stakeholders and divisions to take advantage of inherent capabilities to advance a sale.
  • You have either been in or can adapt to a matrixed organization, reporting to and balancing the directives of more than one leader.
Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications
  • You have about 3 - 5 years of experience in IT Services / Solutions sales. Experience selling to Small and Medium size Businesses is an added advantage!
  • You will ideally have a 4 year degree, but technology related sales experience will be considered in lieu of.
