Position Objective

The Interactive Services Supervisor oversees team-based installation of interactive audio visual technology onsite in customer environments. Interactive Services Supervisors are knowledge experts in the installation and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems, including job planning, documentation, change orders, final testing, and commissioning.

Assignments may include video and/or audio systems installation, in schools or businesses, service of such units, maintenance or small system layout with little or no job supervision.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage field personnel, tools and vehicles needed to complete projects.
  • Ensure team adherence to the project scope of work.
  • Ensure team members adhere to local rules and applicable safety and conduct guidelines.
  • Manage onsite and remote communication with the customer
  • Work with the Solutions Architect and Project Manager to solving installation or readiness issues within budget and customer expectations, identifying any additional materials needed, and consulting on potential change orders.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • Excellent time management skills.
  • This position requires excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. The team lead must be comfortable with interacting with clients, understanding client's needs and managing expectations.
  • Must be assertive, diplomatic and able to work on an independent basis with a minimum of supervision; looking for a self-starter with a competitive drive for results.
  • Computer proficiency expected. Project tools include email, Office suites, web-based project management tools, support ticket systems, and more.
  • Must be able to read schematics and blueprints.

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

  • Journeyman-level construction experience is a must, including basic design and framing, experience with hand tools and power tools.
