Position Objective

As an integral member of the Business Innovation team, the Associate for Healthcare Solutions is an entrepreneurial individual who will identify companies and partners offering unique solutions that will be relevant to a growing BIC portfolio, provide in-depth analysis, market research, due-diligence and see the process through from beginning to end

Essential Job Functions

  • This is a HANDS ON execution role
  • Drive execution of strategies and for multiple initiatives / projects; from concept to commercialization through a rigorous stage gate process
  • Perform market analysis to develop business cases for solutions that fit within the BIC Healthcare  strategy
  • Build a pipeline of relationships with organizations that have emerging technology that fits the market need and BIC strategy
  • Leverage existing and develop new relationships with the customers to identify early adopter and pilot opportunities
  • Collaborate with Konica Minolta Business Units to plan and launch full commercialization
  • Support strategic planning and business development with a focus on accelerating execution of BIC's Healthcare  Strategy
  • Understand the KM business line and geographical strategic gaps and continuously monitor the marketplace for potential solutions
  • Assist in developing appropriate collateral in support of market testing and GTM preparation

  • Must have a proactive can-do attitude with a unique ability to lead by doing/example
  • MUST have a complete 360 degree view of the U. S. healthcare system.  (Payers, providers, patients)
  • Vison to the regulations and drivers of the changing landscape in healthcare

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology or business major

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

  • Have 5 years minimum in a technology based product management / development or innovation role within the healthcare market
  • Have 3-5 years business development experience within the healthcare market
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market analysis and competitive landscaping
