Job Title:  Director, Product Management - Digital Workplace Business Unit (DWP)

Position Objective

Konica Minolta is transforming the world of work through designing the Workplace of the Future™ and delivering the revolutionary Workplace Hub.  The first product from this portfolio, known as the Hub, optimizes office space for those who need it, building an IoT infrastructure with servers and software in an integrated package. Edge, a solution for those looking to boost performance from their server room, is a managed IT service that can complement existing systems to manage specific operational tasks or replace and manage all IT. For Konica Minolta, these solutions are the natural continuation in its long line of innovation and world-firsts, and fully supports the transformative journey the company is undertaking.  The Digital Workplace (DWP) business unit is responsible globally for more then $750M of IT related revenues.

The key objectives of this role are to:

Lead the creation and realization of a world class roadmap of IT products and services, including the innovative Workplace Hub platform.  Workplacehub.konicaminolta.com

Grow and develop a multi-national team of Product Managers across US, Europe and Japan.

Work with the Konica Minolta development organization to help translate the roadmap into successful new products and services.

Team with the DWP Go To Market organization and local sales companies to gather customer inputs and support new product introductions

Essential Job Functions
  • Ownership of the development of the DWP portfolio roadmap
  • Build plans for new product introductions and new market segment developments
  • Work with productization teams to build valuable services for customers
  • Engage with team members of international subsidiaries to gather inputs and deliver insights
  • Work with external partners and vendors to implement new technologies & services

- Revenue & profit from Digital Workplace products & services globally

- Timely development of the DWP portfolio to achieve business goals

- Building a global team that collaborates effectively and engages consistently with other stakeholders

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree

At least 10+ years of experience in product management for IT hardware, software or services

Direct experience in product and service management

High proficiency at program management for IT related offerings

Strong data analysis and statistical skills

Excellent written and presentation skills
