Job Title:  Learning Instructor - Workplace Hub/Digital Workplace

Position Objective

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. is reshaping and revolutionizing the Digital Workplace with an expansive smart office product portfolio that includes IT Services, ECM, Managed Print Services and Industrial and Commercial Print solutions. Konica Minolta is currently seeking a Learning Instructor to assist in all aspects of learning development and sell through initiatives for its most revolutionary solution to date – Workplace Hub.

Essential Job Functions
  • Deliver technology-oriented sales training to Konica Branch and Dealer Channels throughout all phases of the Workplace Hub/Digital Workplace Product portfolio launch.
  • Participate in all sales and sell through initiatives that support WPH activity including Open House events, live and virtual Product launches as well as Onboarding events.
  • Design, develop and deliver engaging learning utilizing multiple modalities including online, virtual and live instructor led training.
  • Provide instruction to Konica Minolta Direct and Dealer sales and technical staff that aligns with selling Workplace Hub as a comprehensive solution that includes a technologically advanced feature-set, Managed IT services and enterprise level support.  
  • Incorporate professional presentation skills, professional selling skills, solutions knowledge and credible technology expertise to achieve desired learning and sales outcomes.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art technology to deliver impactful live, virtual and online learning and sales support.
  • Conceptualize, develop and deliver curriculum appropriate for blended as well as live learning events.
  • Cultivate positive, professional and interpersonal relationships with both internal and external business partners to implement successful sales and learning collateral.
  • Ability to travel in the U.S. and Canada required.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
  • Demonstrable external IT sales or IT sales support in the SMB/mid-range marketplace required.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience selling IT to the C-suite and/or troubleshooting IT across an organization.
  • Exceptional teaching and platform skills required.
  • Prior experience developing and delivering live, virtual and online learning required.
  • Strong demo skills required.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills a must.
  • Strong comfort level speaking with CIOs and IT professionals
  • Active listener, negotiator, and communicator with the ability to quickly establish rapport and built credibility.
  • Ability to create engaging learning experiences by aligning learning objectives to business strategies and organizational goals.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively while managing multiple assignments in a deadline driven environment.
  • Strong project management skills. Ability to work independently.
Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

Technical Knowledge/Skills

  • Track record of successful sales/sell through activity required
  • Must have at least 3 years of successful sales experience and 3 years of training experience with expertise delivering live virtual training
  • Understanding of Windows platform and business application software.
  • Experience selling Cloud servers and services, Security/Cybersecurity hardware and software or similar desirable.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and evaluating network infrastructure within the sales cycle strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Zoom, Adobe Connect or similar platform.
  • Video experience a plus.
  • Certifications
  • Up-to-date N+ certification a plus
  • Training Certification a plus
