Position Objective

FORZA, built on SAP Business One, is an ERP offering a single database business management platform designed for office automation and imaging channel resellers. The all-inclusive, open-architecture system helps SMB’s to unify, manage and control their entire business across financials, sales, and operations.

The Lead Software Developer role will be responsible for the systemic software development of FORZA on the HANA database platform as well as managing the project road map for the development of FORZA. The Lead Software Developer must apply SAP Business One SDK and/or DI API Development principles, and lead a team of software developers to design, build, and deploy FORZA, built upon SAP Business One, ERP.

Essential Job Functions

Include the following, but are not limited to:
1.    Lead the design, development, and documentation of new features to be included in FORZA as well as enhancement and modification of existing features
2.    Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical expertise in the development of FORZA and SAP Business One
3.    Execute the full software development lifecycle applying the software engineering principles and best practices for developing quality, maintainability, and scalable FORZA product
4.    Collaborate with implementation and engineering team to fully understand objectives, provide solutions, and deliver FORZA with least amount of defects
5.    Stay current with emerging technologies and have ability to apply those to solve business needs and/or improve product design and code
6.    Develop C# Windows UI using SAP Business One SDK and/or DI API 
7.    Design and write code that is maintainable and efficient using C#, .NET Development and TSQL
8.    Execute UI development and Crystal Reports
9.    Manage large complex database structure
10.    Comply with project plans and industry standards
11.    Document and maintain software functionality
12.    Communicate with staff, at all levels to ensure all client’s needs are addressed

  • A specialist on complex technical and business matters.
  • Work is highly independent
  • May assume a team lead role for the work group
  • Typically requires 7+ years of related experience
Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

•    Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 5-7 years experience in software development and 3 years experience in SAP Business One
•    Within the 5-7 years of experience, should also have experience with each of the following:
o    SAP Business One SDK and/or DI API development
o    SAP HANA
o    ERP
o    C# .NET development
o    UI development
o    TSQL
o    Designing and writing code that is maintainable and efficient
o    Managing large and complex database structure 
o    Crystal Reports
