Position Objective

Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a VP, Dealer Sales – South!


This position will manage the Southern region dealer field sales organization to achieve monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual sales budgets while working closely with the SVP, Dealer Sales to define and execute strategies that will continue to drive revenue, profit, and growth of the dealer channel.

Essential Job Functions
  • Lead the dealer field sales organization to achieve plans and budgets.
  • Develop close working relationships with dealer partners.
  • Recruitment of new dealers in selected markets.
  • Analyze, plan, and implement business and sales development programs, processes, and procedures for the KM dealer and distributor business.
  • Work closely with Direct Region Presidents, Marketing, Finance, Administration, Service, Corporate Management and dealer partners to collaborate and executive strategies to meet fiscal and future goals.
  • Lead development of business plans, quotas, sales programs, dealer development programs, major account pricing approvals, and all other associated activities as directed by the SVP of Dealer Sales to increase profits, MIF, and MCV to achieve business strategies, objectives and goals.
  • Exceptional ability to identify, recruit, motivate, coach and develop a high performing team of sales talent.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
  • Experience managing a full PandL.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, mentor, and grow a team of sales professionals.
  • Strong leadership experience and competitive drive.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications
  • 15+ years of experience in dealer and/or direct channels of distribution in the office equipment industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred or equivalent years of experience.
