Position Objective

Based in Ramsey, NJ and reporting to the SVP of HR, the Director of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DE&I) will be responsible for building policies, programs, processes, metrics and a culture that enables employees to bring their whole selves to work, fosters inclusion and innovation, and provides access and equality for all.  The Director DE&I is a key leader of Konica Minolta’s Business Solutions HR leadership team and will partner closely with leaders domestically and globally both within the organization and the communities in which we operate as we seek to positively impact our organization and society.  S/he/him/her/they will build a strategy that not only drives real change but also produces an accompanying implementation plan aligned with the organization’s priorities and embedded in existing business decision points.

Essential Job Functions

●    Partner with P&L and functional leaders to identify and align on common goals and build programs to enable successful and sustainable diversity, inclusion and equality practices to achieve organizational goals.

●    Determine the appropriate metrics to track, ensuring leader accountability and assessing progress against goals while providing insights to leaders on current and optimal state.

●    Develop a learning and development agenda to change behaviors, mindsets and attitudes as well as building critical skills related to diversity, inclusion and equality behaviors.

●    Build a sustainable D&I approach inclusive of talent and business processes by designing an employee-centric strategy and intervening in critical talent processes to diffuse bias and advance underrepresented talent.

●    Determine the most effective external partnerships to help advance organizational and community interests.

●    Partner with our Corporate Citizenship group to align our D&I strategy with our philanthropic outreach strategies and ensure we are fostering and enabling the communities in which we conduct business.

●    Act as a company representative and brand ambassador on select external interests.

●    Establish ERG, mentoring, sponsorship infrastructure to promote inclusion, community and to better understand and address the needs of under-represented talent.

●    Identify obstacles and roadblocks and provide actionable solutions to ensure fair and equal access for all employees.

●    Establish channels of communications to ensure employee voices are represented.

●    Keep abreast of external trends and technology to enhance and promote key elements of an inclusive and collaborative culture.

●    Ability to travel as needed.

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

●    7+ years’ experience leading related D&I initiatives and programs in a corporate environment; consulting experience preferred.

●    BS/BA degree or equivalent experience; Masters degree preferred.
