Job Title:  HR Project Manager

Position Objective

The HR Project Manager will manage, drive and enable strategic HR projects and programs in support of our people strategies. The role will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders including leaders, subject matter experts, cross-functional teams and vendors on a wide variety of projects focused to enable enhancing organizational capabilities, the employee experience and culture, and improving HR operations and technologies.   We are seeking a highly collaborative and proactive HR professional who will bring thought leadership as well as process excellence to the role. 

Essential Job Functions

●    Build a master plan and schedule of HR projects with clear objectives, milestones, stakeholders, and metrics.

●    Collaborate with the HR Centers of Excellence to set project strategy and schedule, implement governance and drive project accountability while helping to identify interdependencies and potential roadblocks.

●    Implement a governance structure that enables stakeholders to understand roles and responsibilities, reporting and escalation paths.

●    Develop an in-depth understanding of the business, the vision, the organizational goals and priorities and parley this knowledge into the success of HR projects.

●    Monitor on the project team performance and keep stakeholders apprised of milestones, issues and risks and timelines through reports and/or dashboards.

●    Manage and oversee annual budget planning and quarterly budget updates to the ELT.

●    Oversee sharing and prioritization of resources among projects and work streams.

●    Liaise between the business, HR Centers of Excellence, and internal departments as needed to ensure the timely delivery of projects.

●    Work closely with project owners to ensure the development and execution of robust change management including stakeholder management, communications and training requirements.

●    Enable continuous process improvement by facilitating debriefs on project success and opportunities to help the organization learn and grow

●    Follow project management discipline and apply agile methodologies.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

●    Adept at presenting information succinctly through reports and dashboards

●    Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

●    Ability to hold others accountable for deadlines and deliverables.

●    Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast paced environment with minimal direction

●    Associate in project management, PMP certification and/or formalized project management training preferred.

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

●    BS in business or related field

●    5 years of project management experience with proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously for different stakeholders

●    Experience working with or on a HR team with working knowledge of various HR functions, systems and best practices.

●    Experience with contemporary project management tools and methodologies
