Job Title:  Manager, SAP Projects

Position Objective

The Manager of SAP Projects will be responsible for supporting both internal and external clients, with developing and executing on strategy for design and implementation of SAP solutions, enabling clients to achieve desired and improved business outcomes.  He or she will provide subject matter expertise in business functions and processes, as well as in SAP applications capabilities.  The role will be leading several projects concurrently.  Projects activities will include planning, coordination and execution against agreed upon scope and deliverables, setting and managing client expectations, and management of certain acceptable level of risk to Konica Minolta and its reputation.

Essential Job Functions
  • Lead initial discovery and project scoping, documentation of business process requirements, integration or conversion requirements and provide direct feedback and input for project planning
  • Project Budgeting/ Project Planning and Management
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for specific functional business areaPrepare detailed process requirements documentation resulting from discovery
  • Surface business issues resulting from discovery sessions and document required action for issue resolution, including potential required changes to business policy or organizational structure
  • Liaison with clients and delivery team resources for all process change/ addition
  • Lead project teams comprised of business function and technical resources
  • Identify supporting enhancements required to convert new application and capability portfolio into KMBS systems
  • Development of functional requirements for functional enhancements and conversions
  • Development of technical specifications for functional enhancements and conversions
  • Execution of Data Conversions to KMBS systems
  • Validation of technical specifications for enhancements and conversion
  • Mapping of source system data to KMBS systems and business logic
  • Conduct unit and regression testing and document all related issues for resolution
  • Provide oversight of end user lead UAT Testing
  • Provide project status on regular intervals
  • Ensure IT General Controls for Change Management or other regulatory compliance (when applicable)

  • Proficient with project management tools and/or other software packages (e.g., MS Office Suite, Visio etc.)
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally
Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

5 + years project experience or change management initiatives, 5 + years business process or IT systems experience, including SAP ECC or S/4 HANA.  SAP Financials or SAP Revenue Accounting and Recognition (RAR) experience preferred.
