Position Objective

The Specialist for Corporate Events and Partnership sits within the Marcoms team. Responsible for complete management fulfilment of sports marketing activities and supporting with implementation of corporate events to meet the needs of the sales organization. Equally important will be to ascertain that the customer experience is streamlined and improved consistently to help the sales bottom line and drive brand salience. 

Essential Job Functions


• Lead all aspects of asset creation and management in alignment with the voice of the brand 

• Ensure communication touchpoints are aligned to a compelling and enriched customer journey for all sales channels. This includes development and implementation.

• Maintain a consistent level of effort and professionalism in supporting and communicating with both internal and external clients on sponsorship assets.

• Collaborate with the wider Marketing Communications and Marketing Teams to help implement campaigns to support activities.  


• Lead the day to day management of the sports marketing budget

• Manage sporting events, sports sponsorship and corporate events as needed. Act as a point of contact for customers and stakeholders.

• Manage event ticketing operations from beginning to end. This includes tracking all ticket related activities and generating auditing reports, making recommendation, drive development and enhancement of the customer journey, specifically as it pertains to sponsorship assets (tickets, experiential assets, on-site travel to host). This includes new solutions for sports sponsorships, corporate events and trade shows. 

• Ensure KMBS’ needs are met by managing InviteManager (ticket management software) and implement any changes deemed appropriate for system or process improvements. 

• Develop accurate, timely and comprehensive reports on quarterly ticket usage to present to Konica Minolta’s executive team when evaluating sponsorship value.

• Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to integrate asset usage into CRM and incorporate sales accounts into Marketo marketing campaigns.

Corporate Events 

• Works closely with the Manager, Corporate Events & Partnerships to assist with the execution of corporate events, tradeshows and incentive trips. This includes working with Product Management to support the shipping of products to tradeshows. 

• Leading the coordination of CEC events for VIP visits  

• Working in collaboration with key stakeholders (including leadership, marketing, product management, business development and the campaigns team) across the business to drive MQL and SQL.

• Supporting with collating the analysis of marketing ROI reporting to marketing leadership to help understand performance and determine changes required to the event schedule 

• Communicating well with a wide range of stakeholders from entry level employees to senior executives to ensure the appropriate engagement with corporate events 

• Ensuring each event delivers added value, both commercial and non-commercial, to the Konica Minolta organisation as a whole

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required.

• 3 years marketing experience minimum 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PPT).
