Position Objective

Prominent, customer-facing Service support position providing post-sales and order support to the Dealer and Direct sales org channels. Candidate must have the ability to manage tasks responsible for resolving customer part(s) backorder issues in a timely, successful manner. The candidate will be required to work 11:30 AM ET to 8:00PM ET M-F. The job will entail working independently at times to resolve part(s) and/or warranty issues related to supply and demand for KM customers in an expedited manner and provide after-hour support to the West coast dealers.   

Essential Job Functions

  • Fulfill all critical parts escalation orders submitted on a daily basis.
  • Review and process warranty claims.
  • Have the ability to answer all service related and parts backorder emails.
  • Generate various parts escalation management reports.
  • Research and determine which warranty program is required to process customer warranty claims.
  • Receive, review, validate and process return authorizations (RA) for warranty requests for new parts returns.
  • Receive review and process customer request for Free of Charge Parts and Replacement memory modules (NVRAM).
  • Process corrective transactions, i.e.; warranty credits, warranty replacement orders, return authorizations in SAP order entry and CIC0 modules, to reorder credit and debit customers.
  • Maintain mykonicaminolta.com warranty application, adding part number updates, serial number updates and adding new models.
  • Research and resolve customer issues related to warranty claims.
  • Assist customers with telephone/email inquiries pertaining to warranty, NVRAMs and KMBS Free of Charge Programs.
  • Work with Third Party vendors to reconcile receipts of warranty returns at vendors’ location.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • At least 3 years of experience in SAP with order processing, inventory control, billing and/or credit functions, as well as familiarity with accounts query processes.
  • 5+ years of PC experience including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Visio experience a plus.
  • Must have excellent organizational, and spreadsheet skills and customer service experience.
  • Excellent written/communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Can be counted on to work independently.
