Position Objective

Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Production Print Testing Specialist! 

Essential Job Functions

•  Effectively test media and complete test  reports
•  Prepare and print marketing media samples for field sales
•  Performs color quality checks on all lab equipment and print shop equipment
•  Manage and maintain all equipment in the test lab and website
•  Coordinate  sales samples on the web to print site with print shop
•  Primary interface to third party solution vendors based on assigned products
•  Participate in trade shows, meetings and seminars affecting the perception, influence and sales of these products, including third party vendor participation
•  Visit customers as required
• Engage in learning activities required to maintain current knowledge of assigned products and essential business practices
• Travel as required

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts,  or equivalent combination of education and experience
•  Solid product knowledge including software and print solutions, applications, and software utilities in a graphic arts workflow
•  Excellent written/verbal communication skills
•  Understand graphic arts print standards, ISO, GRACol, SWOP, G7
•  Experience in project management skills
• Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Windows Operating System and MAC OS
