Position Objective

Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Treasury Analyst.

Konica Minolta Business Solutions is currently seeking a Sr. Treasury Analyst to join our team. This individual will be part of a team responsible for the opening & closing bank accounts, daily cash positioning, cash forecasting, analysis, and planning, reporting, and reconciliation. The candidate will work closely with internal business partners and external advisors to develop, automate, and digitize an efficient global treasury operation and process, including implementation of projects in disbursement and cash receipts processing.

Essential Job Functions

• Administer daily cash operations, and ensure company has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations to customers and vendors, for all relevant currencies

• Responsible for executing all domestic and international bank account openings, closings, and changes

• Execute global netting and intercompany borrowing arrangements

• Assist with execution of global payments and ERP system recording by partnering with Account Payable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, and Legal departments

• Partner with external banking providers to ensure smooth processing of treasury service activities

• Drive automation by implementing and maintaining treasury software solutions and interfaces (TMS/ERP) 

• Build and maintain standardized monthly and quarterly management and financial reporting

• Reconcile global bank accounts, resolving variances to the GLs on a timely basis

• Ensure compliance of internal treasury controls.

• Ad hoc analytics and reporting and significant project work involving disbursements and cash receipts, and treasury process improvements

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

• SAP CFIN experience a strong plus

• TMS systems knowledge

Certified Treasury Professional and/or Corporate FP&A credential

• Self-starter with ability to investigate and solve problems independently

• Treasury-related project management skills and experience 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines while maintaining accuracy

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with financial area departments all levels of Management

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Corporate FP&A credential preferred

10+ years of combined finance, accounting, or treasury experience

Substantial knowledge and experience with bank operations, liquidity/cash management, financial planning and analysis, or accounting

• Analytical and effective problem solver with strong quantitative and analytical abilities

• Advanced abilities in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word

• Self-starter who works independently and interfaces with all relevant internal teams and external business partners as needed

• Effective communication skills, including ability to both listen and articulate complex concepts to different audiences, resulting in action-oriented outcomes.

• High ethical standards, integrity and strength of character in his/her personal and professional dealings and a willingness to act on and be accountable for his/her decisions.
