Position Objective

Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Pricing Analyst I!

 

The Strategic Pricing Analyst is primarily responsible for pricing proposals for a variety of opportunities, including Fortune 1000, other commercial companies, colleges, hospitals and various local state and federal government agencies. In this high-profile position, the Strategic Pricing Analyst works closely with Konica Minolta’s branch sales channels to provide detailed price analysis to determine proper, account-specific pricing based on prevailing market and competitive environments.

Essential Job Functions
  • Extensive review and analysis of all incoming price requests
  • Prepare and present final financial pricing analysis for required approvals
  • High-level interaction with field sales, upper management, leasing partners and various internal departments in obtaining the information necessary to develop strategic pricing proposals
  • Maintain established contracts by processing renewals, model adds/deletions
  • Creation of pricing proposals/contracts and other required documentation
  • Ensure documentation is properly presented for integrity
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with all departments within company
  • Knowledge of contract and leasing terms and conditions
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, firm deadlines in a busy environment
  • General knowledge of the Office Equipment Industry or Business-to-Business Bid process
  • A plus Advanced organizational, problem solving, analytical and financial skills required
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) required
Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-4 years professional experience in pricing, bid development, finance, sales or marketing
