Job Title:  Sr. Software Engineer

Position Objective

Due to the current circumstances brought about by the Covid-19 outbreak, this position does not yet have a start date. However given the importance of the role, we will continue to actively interview candidates during this time, with the intention of completing the hiring process and extending an offer as soon as we are able to do so. Initial interviews will be over the phone and/or video. 


Person would be integral part of the Company's Production Print Workflow application software development.

Essential Job Functions

Conceive, experiment with, and present architectural approaches for Microservices based platform development.   Analyze, review, and inspect findings to determine source of problem, perform troubleshooting and corrective action.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
  • Experience of front end technologies e.g. AngularJS, ReactJS
  • Experience of server side technologies e.g. Java, C#, NodeJS
  • Experience working with RESTful web services
  • Thorough understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, TCP/IP, cookies, headers, and caching)
  • Experience with web technologies including CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
  • Knowledge of various databases / database technologies
  • Knowledge of OO design/design patterns and development experience
Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications
  • BS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Relevant Experience: 5+ years
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of architecture, design and Performance.
  • Background in printing technology or printing industry software preferred
  • An understanding of development processes like 'Agile Scrum' preferred
  • Networking interface configuration knowledge helpful
  • Experience with Linux environment
