Position Objective

This position is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the document solution shop team.  This position will work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure that the productivity and output of this group remains at an above average level.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage team of in-house shop technicians who are responsible for the set-up of new and used/rental multi-functional output products, printers and faxes
  • Manage delivery of proactive and superior equipment maintenance services to clients in a geographic region through an assigned team of service and shop technicians
  • Achieve established team performance standards for service excellence and productivity. 
  • Subject matter expert regarding troubleshooting and reconditioning of used equipment for rental and resale. 
  • Develop and maintain personal technical skills.
  • Work with Director of Operations to coordinate development plans for new hires and existing employees.  Monitor, track and communicate the daily/weekly/monthly team goals.

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • At least 4 years related technical experience and/or training
  • At least 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
