Position Objective

Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for an (Intelligent Infomrationa Management) IIM Solutions Engineer! This is a  field / REMOTE (work from home) position! Nationwide Opening

As an OnBase Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for providing customers with valuable IIM (Intelligent Information Management) services that simplify their business processes using Hyland Software’s OnBase platform. Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing your diverse OnBase skillset and experience in implementing OnBase solutions to provide consulting services, solution designing, software installations, solution training, solution configuration, and supporting client solutions working in a cohesive team environment at Konica Minolta.  Other position-related responsibilities as defined below.

Essential Job Functions

  • Delivers well architected efficient solutions using applicable software and technologies
  • Work closely with the KMBS business analyst and solution architect to review the client’s solution requirements and determine the best approach for solution architecture and implementation.
  • Participate in discovery sessions with the client and KMBS business analyst when needed
  • Determines solution requirements with client for small projects by analyzing the business needs, reviewing existing work processes and identifying options for solution improvements
  • Collaborate with the KMBS project manager to create project plans consisting of solution implementation tasks, maintaining a project issues log, address items noted in the issues log and assist with change orders as required
  • Assists with design and documentation of solution prerequisites using flowcharts and diagrams, templates, user guides, solution admin guides and solution as-built documentation
  • Participating in internal team meetings and client status calls
  • Provide client UAT/User training on how to use the implemented solution
  • Provide client solution administrative training for the implemented solution
  • Installing software and assisting with infrastructure needs
  • Executes remote implementation efforts including development in multiple environments
  • Performs functional testing in controlled environment and assists client in solution user acceptance testing utilizing business process test case scenarios
  • Provides initial go-live support of the implemented solution after migrated to production
  • Promotes enhancement of existing processes and solutions when presented with such opportunities
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and applicable training

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

  • Four year college degree or satisfactory completion of an IT degree/certificate program from an accredited educational institution or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience installing and supporting OnBase solutions.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the ECM/IIM sector.
  • Certifications in Hyland OnBase software preferred (Installer, Workflow and WorkView)
