Job Title:  Regional Sales Dir. - IT Sales

Position Objective

The goal of the Regional Sales Director is to develop and direct sales activity to ensure volume and revenue objectives are exceeded within the assigned territory.  The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining a successful sales team through the effective implementation of staffing, training, and performance management tools.  This person will work closely with other Regional Sales Directors, Sales Representatives, and other internal teams to ensure a high level of quality and communication.  The candidate should be an independent producer and willing to accept challenges on a daily basis. 

Due to the current circumstances brought about by the Covid-19 outbreak, this position does not yet have a start date. However given the importance of the role, we will continue to actively interview candidates during this time, with the intention of completing the hiring process and extending an offer as soon as we are able to do so. Initial interviews will be over the phone and/or video. 

Essential Job Functions

•    Utilize Building a Quality Company Curriculum

  • Attract, hire, train, develop, motivate & manage IT Services Consultants, and lead them to achieve all quota targets.

•    Aggressively stimulate, review and monitor all sales activity for the marketplace and ensure achievement of weekly activity goals.

•    Develop solid business relationships with new and existing customers.

•    Ensure achievement of market Managed IT Sales and profitability objectives.

•    Accurately forecast quarterly, monthly and weekly revenue streams for;

  • Monthly Recurring Revenue,
  • Project Labor and
  • IT Hardware Procurement.

•    Conduct bi-weekly 1-on-1 sales funnel reviews with each Account Exec using the CRM tool (Hubspot).

•    Evaluate the effectiveness of the sales organization and implement changes.

•    Prepare and present quarterly evaluations of productivity for the sales team.

•    Coach and counsel employees on overall performance and provide recommendations to develop areas of concern.

•    Manage the assigned sales team by ensuring full compliance of company policies and procedures.  This will require open communication with Legal and/or Human Resources as required.

•    Work with SymQuest management, engineering, sales and client management resources to achieve and exceed marketplace sales quota.

•    Participate in developing annual sales budgets

•    Provide feedback to Area Vice President of IT Sales on existing solutions as well as new solutions that are available in the marketplace.

•    Obtain and maintain technical and social skills to be seen as an internal resource

•    Maintain a high awareness of changes in the industry

•    Manage inside sales team for:

  • Product configuration
  • Quote generation
  • Support and Maintenance renewals

•    Ability to delegate responsibilities as deemed appropriate based on business needs.

•    Proven ability to directly manage and track performance.

•    Proven ability to motivate and direct sales teams.

•    Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, management and organizational skills with a proven track record.

•    Strong business acumen managing to “bottom-line” profitability.

•    Experience in accurately forecasting and managing the sales of a high growth business.

•    Proven track record of having excellent internal and external customer relationships.

•    Work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

•    Documented history of job stability and successful sales management.

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

Minimum of a Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
