Position Objective

Workplace Hub is searching for a Business Analyst (BA) to join our remote monitoring and management team. The position involves working closely with stakeholders, who will be providing remote support and services to our Workplace Hub customers.  The BA's role will involve capturing  remote monitoring activities to support the next generation, ITIL/ITSM based, service delivery model. The BA’s role involves interview sessions with stakeholders to transfer their needs to the System Architects and Developers. This is a customer facing position which requires excellent written and communication skills. 

Essential Job Functions

Prepare and present Epics, Use Cases, User Stories, Business Processes, Attributes,  Operational Manual/Guide, and other supporting documentation on behalf of key stakeholders
Actively partner with key stakeholders such as  Product Owners, architects, SDM team, and Service organizations to optimize remote monitoring tools capabilities and operational support model
Effectively communicate and organize regular reviews of artifacts with key stakeholders
Lead events workflow, data center tool management , support, issues, maintenance, monitoring, high availability, and disaster recovery requirements, solutions, and support.
Act as subject matter expert of the remote monitoring and management tools
Conduct functional testing activities and provide QA teams support where needed
Clarify queries on requirements/processes in consultation with Product Owners, WPH Architects, Service Delivery Team, Lead Architect and Enterprise Architect teams
Create and maintain required documentation such as functional specifications, test scripts, training materials, run book, and user guides
May support Program Manager where needed with regular PMO & governance activities - including maintenance of RAID log, Change Log, Change Requests, PID, Stakeholder map, communication plan, holiday calendar, etc.
May attend all project meetings such as Daily calls, weekly program meetings, Steering Committee Meeting, Adhoc meetings, Technical workgroup meetings, Test/QA meetings, Ops manual meeting etc; Prepare & circulate minutes to the attendees and follow up on outstanding actions
Work with global teams supporting Workplace Hub products and remote monitoring services
Provide post-production support, as needed

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

Experience with ITIL/ITSM support models.
Experience with remote monitoring and management tools, APM , Canonical Landscape, ScienceLogic, ElasticSearch, LogStash, Kibana, VPN, Lucid/Visio, Confluence/Jira.
Experience supporting a global service delivery model.
Experience with data center, Cloud,  IT infrastructure,  and application support.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of agile, scrum, kanban, devops.

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

Bachelor's  degree or greater with at least 10 year's experience.
