Position Objective

Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for an Implementation Specialist! 

 

The Implementation Specialist assists external clients in the implementation of technical systems, software, hardware, or solutions. In addition, this role provides escalation support to authorized internal teams. The Implementation Specialist also works to evaluate client needs as requested, develop configurations that support business processes. The Implementation Specialist defines scope and executes on delivery and implementation plans when necessary. Additionally, this role provides training and end-user support during and after the implementation process. This includes testing and troubleshooting final system setups, providing additional services to existing clients and supporting escalations.

This role may be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations or provide assistance in scoping projects or developing proposals. Requires a bachelor’s degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Implementation Specialist I works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.

Essential Job Functions
  • Serve as the first point of contact for escalation support.
  • Perform triage using a combination of knowledgebase reference, team collaboration and remote troubleshooting/discovery engagements.
  • Work with the support team to determine the best solution based on the issue and details gathered during triage.
  • Assist with licensing and pre-sales questions.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to level 2 support team.
  • Provide accurate information about software and services.
  • Record events and problems using the support ticketing system
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information on a timely basis, adhering to in-place SLAs.
  • Pass on any feature requests or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Assist with order fulfillment
  • Other duties as assigned.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer-oriented focus.
Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

Associates Degree, or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 2+ years of demonstrated work experience performing the duties outlined in this job description.
