Essential Job Functions

Supply Chain Management

o Lead and manage Purchasing team and all Supply Chain functions, including procurement, inventory planning, and inventory allocation.

o Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues and take corrective action and avoid reoccurrence. 

o Work with Purchasing team to set inventory targets by item based on lead times and historical forecast accuracy

o Identify opportunities for improvement in inventory, logistics cost, and lead time while meeting the compliance and regulatory requirements of the organization.  

o Coordinate inventory allocation with demand/supply plans and deadlines/ cutoffs to achieve financial and customer satisfaction goals.

o Ensure team is sourcing equipment and supplies by researching multiple vendors to ensure lowest cost of goods and quick turnaround.

o Manage backup for KMBS programs and work with KMBS team to be sure it is submitted correctly and in a timely manner.

o Work with KMBS Director of Subsidiary Sales and other vendors on equipment allocation and order escalation.

o Work with AVP of Document Sales to verify accurate pricing is quoted.

o Work with Purchasing Team on shipment of in stock equipment and vendor returns.

o Manage supply chain vendor relationships to ensure availability and stocking of high-demand equipment.

o Work with vendors to negotiate prices and shipping rates. 

Inventory Management

o Oversee inventory management in all SymQuest warehouse locations, South Burlington, Westbrook Maine, Plattsburgh NY, as well as several remote demo floors, and technician carstocks.

o Manage control systems over an ever-changing inventory of copiers, faxes, printers, parts, toner, networking hardware and software. 

o Work with Warehouse Manager and Service Director to implement a cycle count system to ensure the accuracy of the inventory in all warehouses.

o Manage quarterly inventory write down process and perform an analysis to ensure that we meet the financial targets.

o Work with AVP of Sales and Purchasing Team to regularly turn over stock equipment, or turn over aging inventory to minimize write-downs.

o Manage annual physical inventory, including prep, physical count, variance reporting and audits to ensure accurate reporting.

o Review and validate monthly inventory reports and prepare recommendations prior to it being distributed to management team.

o Review and maintain supply pricing to ensure margin goals are met.

o Provide back up of any manual inventory adjustments to finance.  

Project Management

o Manage Document project coordination team 

o Lead implementation of all Document Solutions equipment installation, including fleets, office class, production, inter-territorial, and other solutions.

o Ensure team works to minimize cycle times to meet customer demands.

o Monitor quality and productivity metrics and make improvements to increase efficiency and maximize completion of revenue generating implementation projects

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

Demonstrated ability to implement control systems.

Experience with complex data analysis.

Proficient in Microsoft, especially Excel.

Learning the compliance and regulatory requirements of a publically traded organization within this industry.

Complex problem solving.

High level of responsibility.

Using multiple systems to gather inventory data.

Maintaining accuracy of all inventory across multiple locations with minimum variance. 

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

Bachelors Degree preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years previous management experience, preferably in Supply Chain.
